Eric Marin gave up just two earned runs and struck out five in four innings of work Thursday night in Whiting as the Miracle dropped their first game of the season in a 10-3 loss to Northwest Indiana at Oil City Stadium.
Centerfielder Nate Pinarski scored a run, reached base three times on two walks, and collected a hit and stolen base. Second baseman Gabe Kahl had three hits and scored a run.
The Miracle open up at home tonight at 6:00 against the Griffith Generals in the first of three Family Friday Nights where kids 12 and under are admitted free. Reserve and General Admission tickets are available at the gate, and online at elkhartcountymiracle.com.
