Elkhart County Miracle Announces the Return of Wilson Valera as its Baseball Manager
ELKHART, INDIANA—The 2024 Elkhart County Miracle has retained the services of its field manager from last season, Wilson Valera. The announcement comes as the team prepares for its second season as a member of the Northern League.
“Of all the candidates we’ve considered, Wilson is the most qualified person for the position”, said Miracle President Craig Wallin. “He is the right leader that combines experience as a minor league player and big league coach”.
“He also maintains contacts and relationships at the highest level of the game which is important to prospects that wear our jersey”, Wallin added.
The Elkhart County Miracle begins its 2024 season on the road against the Southland Vikings in Hammond on May 27. The team’s Home Opener is set for June 6 against the Griffith Generals at 6pm.

The Miracle play their home games this season at the Elkhart Athletic Complex inside American Park just off Waterfall Drive in Elkhart. The site is adjacent to the former Elkhart Central High School campus.
