Elkhart County Miracle Defeat Northwest Indiana in Regular Season Finale, 4-1
Former Mishawaka Marian right-hander Henry Singer shuts down Oilmen striking out seven thru eight innings
(Elkhart, IN)–The Elkhart County Miracle (16-12) got strong pitching from Henry Singer and closer Nate Pinarski (Goshen HS/Marian University) Sunday to pull off their sixth consecutive win.
DH Dahiandy Johnson (Tampa Bay Rays) and left fielder Gabe Kahl (ECA HS/Viterbo University) each collected two hits in helping the defending Northern League Champs notch their ninth win out of their last 12 games.
The league’s best of three Championship series begins Tuesday night in Whiting. The Miracle’s lone home playoff game will be played in Elkhart at the Elkhart Athletic Complex on Wednesday, August 6, at 6pm.
