
Elkhart County Miracle Acquire Former Cincinnati Reds Minor Leaguer
Right Handed Pitcher Juan Polo Slated to Start
Wednesday‘s Game in Elkhart
(Elkhart, IN)–The Elkhart County Miracle begin a Wednesday/Friday homestand this week with 24-year-old Colombian right handed fireballer Juan Polo to take the hill Wednesday at the Elkhart Athletic Complex at 6pm.
Polo, who initially signed as a teenager with the Kansas City Royals, will face the Northwest Indiana Oilmen in the mid-week showdown between the two rivals. The game is a rematch of the 2024 best of three Championship Series which the Miracle won two games to one.
Family Friday features another Miracle home game with a showdown against the Hammond Vikings at 6pm. Kids 12 and under are free, and are invited to take the field with the Miracle. A portion of the game’s proceeds go to help benefit the Make a Wish Foundation. Texas Roadhouse Hot Dogs that night are only one dollar.
