Elkhart County Miracle Announce 100-Day Championship Trophy Tour
Northern League trophy to be on display at various locations beginning at Hotel Elkhart this weekend
(Elkhart, IN)—Fresh off a history making “best-of-three” championship series win over the defending Northern League champion Northwest Indiana Oilmen last week, the Elkhart County Miracle are now taking it to the street to show off the hardware.
The traveling league trophy will make stops throughout Elkhart County starting with a display in the lobby at Hotel Elkhart thru the end of August. The trophy will travel to Linton’s Enchanted Gardens for display beginning September 1.
The Miracle finished the season 26-11 in its second year in the Northern League to claim its spot on the coveted prize. The list of other past winners over the last three decades include teams such as the Winnipeg Goldeyes, Fargo Redhawks, Duluth Dukes, New Jersey Jackals, and fabled St. Paul Saints.
Miracle founder and president Craig Wallin welcomes the community to come out for the photo op that awaits them at any location. “This championship trophy is for all of us. It belongs to each and every Miracle fan in Elkhart County and those that follow us from outside the area.”
