Elkhart County Miracle Win 2024 Northern League Championship with Game 3 Thriller over Defending Champion Oilmen

(Whiting, IN)–The Elkhart County Miracle never looked back Thursday night in a deciding Game 3 win on the road beating the Northwest Indiana Oilmen 7-4. Starting pitcher Mason Meyer (Grace/Huntington) worked the first six innings for the win. Jorge Lozono finished out of the bullpen to notch the save. Meyer helped his own cause by going 2-4 at the plate while knocking in three runs.
The Miracle finished the season 26-11 in its second year in the league. Miracle founder and president Craig Wallin said the win was “icing on the cake” to an unforgettable season. “Everything came together for these bunch of guys who worked especially hard at their craft all year. Skipper Wilson Valera and his coaching staff were phenomenal as well”, Wallin added.
